Jain adherents love Upadhyay Pad in Shukla Dasami, the fourth day of Navapad Oli. They perform Ayambil by eating bubbled Mung as it were. A shade of Upadhyaya is green, consequently the grain decided for Ayambil is green i.e. Mung. They likewise supplicate, love and think for Upadhyay amid the day.
